My husband has been buying all kinds of plants that will attract bees and butterflies so I thought of a special project - monitor the different stages of the butterfly development. I just thought it's fun doing so :)

At one time, there were 16 caterpillars that were munching on our butterfly weeds! It's kind of scary looking at them but the thought that one day they'll turn into one of the most beautiful creatures just amazes me :) It took me long to get a picture of the monarch butterfly because it's just so elusive, it will fly away whenever I tried to get a closer shot of it.

Right now, the butterfly weeds are bald because all its leaves are eaten by the caterpillars and there are 2 cocoons in our fence that haven't opened yet...

gen, ang last picture ani nga album butterfly na xa pero layo lang pagkakuha, dli ko maka-take ug close up jud kay molupad man gud ang butterfly basta magpaduol ko,hehehe..

hapit na gen, lately sige na balik2 ang mga monarch butterfly diri sa among garden pero mao lagi na, camera shy man sila oi mao dli ko makakuha ug close up nila,hehehe...
